Sushi & Kimchi: The Hidden Gem of Nyack’s Japanese-Korean Cuisine

Stopped in with a friend and we knew we wanted to eat a lot. The woman serving us must have been the owner, she was wonderful and easy going and recommending some of her favorite dishes. I got the Sam Gye Tang, I've never had it before so she told me the culture behind it and the best way to eat/enjoy it. It was delicious!! All the sushi we ordered was amazing. She even brought complimentary tasting dishes of homemade kimchi, salad, spicy tofu, and more. It's a great place to stop in to eat some authentic and yummy food.

Hidden gem! Such a great find. I love Japanese food and Korean food! Went there today and was not disappointed. Food was fresh and great quality. Flavors were fantastic. Sushi was fresh and high quality. Huge selection. You can’t judge a book by its cover. This place is our new favorite. Sushi is great and we don’t have to go to Fort Lee or Pal Park for good Korean food now!

Super delicious Korean Japanese restaurant The food was incredibly fresh... even the desserts were delicious. Best green tea icecream I've had in a long time. It did take a while to get served however it worth the wait!! Definitely a hidden gem.

The host Gina was warm, inviting and phenomenal! The lunch specials were great! Stopped by for the 1st time on our way to palisades mall and Sooo GLAD WE DID!!! #NewFavoriteSpot

Went with my son for lunch and enjoyed it very much. We had CHIRASHI Donburi and BULGOGI HOT STONE BIBIMBAP. They were awesome and came with soup and salad. Waitress was nice as well.

Oh. My. Goodness. I read reviews and tried it out, but it's such a wonderful experience, that very few places can match. The ambiance is like coming into a friend's house. Quiet, soft music sets the mood here and it's perfect for a chat with a friend or a romantic lunch. We took advantage of the lunch menu, and ordered a Sushi Lunch Box, a bibimbop, and 2 Sapporos. Everything arrived beautifully presented, with a variety of textures and flavors that confirmed the others' reviews. It's a lovely place, and we home to come here often.

This is our go-to spot. All of the food tastes so fresh and authentic. The main server/owner/host is so gracious and helpful. My husband loves Korean food and I always want sushi. It’s perfect!

I spend a lot of time in Bergen county and frequent a lot of Korean restaurants there that I often forget I have this gem right in my own backyard. Aside from being one of the few legit Korean spots in Rockland, this place serves up fantastic Japanese cuisine as well. The food is super clean and fresh and every time I order from here I kick myself for not getting more. The lunch specials are a fantastic deal and the variety of treats included is literally perfection. I love to have a meal where there are many delicious tiny things versus one huge heap of the same thing and they absolutely delivery on that here. That doesn't even include the ever changing variety of bon chon included with takeout orders. Everything is prepared so lovingly and the proprietor of the establishment has always been kind and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot. It's absolutely worth your time.
